Year Nine - Kashmir Earthquake
You are to produce a report on the Kashmir Earthquake. You will be looking back at the earthquake as though you are writing in October 2006 (12 months on)
It will include causes, location, date, primary and secondary effects, how the area has been slow to recover. You will include reasons why the death toll was so high and what other factors have meant the area was slow to cope with the aftermath.
Once done you will write on how the incident contrasts with the earthquake in KOBE.
Why are some areas better at coping with disasters than others.
The following sites will be adequate for your needs.
